M.C.A. makeover!

Hello darlings as you can see the site has undergone some changes, I hope you like them. Well as you can see I have been horrible at posting regularly and I do once again deeply apologize for that. I've decided that for the blogs sake I'm going to branch out the topics so it can stay fresh with something new, but the blog will still be mostly beauty related. I'm also going to start posting more videos, I started on my skin routine video last nite, but sadly my windows movie maker crashed(as always) so I have to start over so keep on the look out for new post!

Hey long time no see!

Hello Darlings! I know it's been forever and a day since you've heard from me so I wanna apologize for my way too long hiatus. I just wanted to update you guys on some things.

*I got the rest of the items on m MAC HK wishlist! (Fun&Games BPB Tahitian Sands BP)
*I got my first OPI Polish!!!! YEAH
*I reorganized my room (maybe I'll be more focused now on my blogging)
*My stye has went down significantly, but not totally :(
*I'm gonna have a new video up about my face routine! YAY NEW VID!

MAC Hello Kitty Look 1

Hello Darlings!

I know, I know, you guys are sick of my hiatus's, (however you spell that! ;-p!), but I'm gonna try to be better about posting regularly, if you can please give me some tips and encouragement. So anyway, I love my Too Dolly palette so I figured I'd get to work on doing looks with it for you guys. I only have one problem . . . I don't know what to do so if you guys have some things specifically that you want to see let me know, and I'll have a look up by Friday!

Well last week I woke up and saw terror!!!!! I have a stye on my left eye and it's showing very slow signs of leaving, so If I do a tutorial it will probably in pic form, so I hope that's alright.

This is my very first product review post, so let me give you the rundown on how these are gonna work. First there will be a pic of the product to be reviewed (of course)with info about the price and company that produced it. Okay, now I know those of you who read my initial HK First review I wasn't even thinking about getting these because why pay so much for lip balm. Well, let me tell you about my trip to the Macy's. When I went in to pick up my first couple of items I was so excited, yet confused about what thing on my whishlist will I get first. I didn't know whether to get a BPB or two lippies. I finally decided that I loved how big bow looked on so many people I had to have it . . . well when I tried it on to make sure I liked it I looked like bozo it was way too pigmented for my liking, and I was upset causI had so much high hopes for this. Then, I tried on Popster TLC it showed up a lot like how I thought Big Bow would show up on me, so I had to get it. Even though it doesn't feel as moisturizing as other balms it does last a really long time, and it has just the right amount of tint, so I was sold. So all in all I probably wouldn't buy it based on the price, but I would take a freebie or gift gladly.

Hello Darlings!
Sorry again for leaving you all hanging, but I hae been running all month, and I've just been super busy and have barely had anytime to sit down and post, so I thought I'd let you guys know what I've been up to in the world of makeup!

Well first off, I bought some more mac crack(WHOO HOO!). I could not resist MAC HK! So far I only have three items that I want to acquire from this collection, and I plan on getting a few more things. So here's what I have so far:

Hello Kitty Excitement!!!!!

Hi darlings!

Sorry I've haven't posted in a bit, but school and church has had me swamped(and the super bowl of course! *Go Steelers*!). Also, I am just going out of my mind with anticipation of the Hello Kitty Launch on next Thursday!!! After seeing many blogs coverage of the unveiling parties around the country I am definately jealous, and I've changed my mind about certain products, so I'll post the updated wishlist on the bottom. Shortly I am going to be posting my second youtube video, I decided to take a shot at a special "love stinks" Valentine's day look(pink smokey eye). I love the garnier skin renew moisturizer(reg.$13.99) it smells so good. It's not a very thick moisturizer so I mainly use this during the summer, but I couldn't pass this deal by!

I've always wondered about Nexxus hair products, so I thought I'd give the Sleek Memory Straightening Smoothing Spray(reg.$13.99) a try.

My Contest Entry!!!!

Weekend Haul and L'Oreal Hip goodness!!!

Hi Darlings!

Well recently I hit up the old Walgreens to get some b-day cards. Well, while I was there I spotted L'Oreal Hip was bogo free!!!!!! So I picked up a new eyeshadow duo from the brights collection and a new color truth cream eyeliner because sadly the one I previously had dried out :-(. Anyways, my new haul made me want to share with you some of my other Hip products, and some youtubers that work wonders with them.

Ok, one of the main reasons why I bought those new items was because of the sale of course and because Ateyaaa (youtube/smuvecomplexions.blogspot.com)is having a contest called the "Smuve Look" in which you must submit a video where you must color-coordinate your eyeshadow and outfit and also rock a nice hair do. Reasons for my addiction

Hello darlings!

Well I recently got a comment,(and I'm not mad or bashing the person who wrote it) about how I don't really need makeup, embrace natural beauty,ect.,ect. Well I don't blame you for what your saying and I should expect more comments like this to come. SO, I'm gonna give you the main reasons behind why I'm obsessed with makeup. Well since I was a little girl I've always loved dress up, makeovers, all that jazz; so of course it has carried on into my young adult years. I really love it for the creativity with colors and designs, and more fun stuff. I really wear very little face make up because I do believe I'm a natural beauty. I usually go all out with eye makeup and my nails. I have a passion for color-coordinating and I express that with my makeup. Now some people don't understand how I can be obsessed with makeup, but honestly it's not hard just like all these girls who are addiccted to handbags, jewlery, and designer clothes; or guys with clothes and of course shoes,(I don't even understand the Jordans obsession). So there's a little background on my passion.

And in the future I do appreciate the I'm too pretty for makeup comments, but I love it and I'm gonna wear it cause it makes me happy. . . ;-)

[skip]*Blush- I really perfer cream blushes, and I if I try MAC powder blush I'd rather get attached to a permanent than a LE shade.
*Beauty Powder- I can't wait to get my hands on these babies!!!! I love the colors, and I definately can't wait to use my hk compact, especially since I saw this awesome post by fafinettex3. (By the way if anyone has an empty heatherette, lure, or Diana Ross compact they'd like to giveaway let me know!!!!!)

Hello Darlings!

Well since I'm still a newbie to the MAC world I missed the beloved Barbie, Fafi, and Heatherette collections so, I'm definately not gonna let myself miss out on the upcoming Hello Kitty Collection. I love Hello Kitty stuff, and I'm not gonna hesitate on picking up some items in this collection. The expected U.S. release date is February 12th,2009. Unveiling parties will be help on the third,(check the events page on maccosmetics.com to find one near you). It has a large range of items from eyeshadows to tinted lip conditioners,(*REMEMBER* check temptalia.com for the go to source of MAC collection launches).

These are my opinions about the items in this collection. . .

~Eyes~
[Skip]*Glitter Liners- Well, even though I'm am a teenage girl I really think this is a little to over the top for me plus NYX glitter liners are a lot cheaper, so I'm gonna have to pass on this.
[Skip]*Pigments/Reflect glitters- I don't own any piggies yet so I'd actually like to stock up on the staple shades first(like vanilla, tea time, violet, etc.). I'm gonna have to pass on these too.
[Skip]*Lashes- I honestly have never used false lashes, and I'd rather wait and train up to these.
[idk???]*Eyeshadow quads- I never understand MAC's thought proccess behind these color combos, but I'll wait and see how everyone else is using them to help me decide whether or not I'll pick one up.

~Lips~
*Lipsticks- I think the colors are really cool in this collection, and I love the hello kitty indentation on the lipstick. I'll probably get one for show to preserve it. lol
*Lip glass- I also love the colors, but I probably will only get one or pass because I plan on getting a dazzleglass from the Nordstrom exclusive Kitty Kouture collection.
[Skip]*Tinted Lip Conditioner- These maybe wonders for other people but, I can get the same thing from chapstick.

Welcome Fellow Addicts!!!

Hello, darlings!

I want to welcome you all to my very first blog. First off, I would like to thank you for stopping by to read because everyone knows blogs can't succeed without readers so I hope you all stop back in to check up on how my blog is doing.
